U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham has threatened India,China,Brazil of 100% tariffs for continuing to buy cheap Russian crude oil and accused them of funding the war. Graham has blamed these countries for indirectly supporting Vladimir Putin.
In a recent interview with fox news he said “ Donald Trump is going to impose heavy Tariffs on countries that buy Russian Oil – India, China, Brazil.
He said “If you keep buying discounted russian oil we are going to tear the hell out of you…. and will crush your economy”.
Graham has pointed out that these three nations account for more than 80% of crude oil from Russia and claimed that these nations are funding the war and so U.S. president Donald Trump will impose 100% tariffs on these three countries and punish them for helping Vladimir Putin. He added
Further he added “ Russian President Vladimir Putin can live with those Tariffs but India, China, Brazil are going to face a choice between the American economy or helping Vladimir Putin and I think they are going to pick the American economy. “
U.S.Senator accused Vladimir Putin of reviving Soviet Union by attacking and occupying the nations “ Putin wants to take countries that are not his, In mid the 90s Ukraine has surrendered 1700 nuclear weapons in the exchange of their sovereignty and territorial integrity will always be respected by russia but putin has broken that promise by starting the war with ukraine. “
According to the U.S Senator Lindsey Graham, by imposing Tariffs on India, China, Brazil, the US will be sending a message to other nations as well that if you are going to help Putin you will also face the similar consequences.
He added “ You are buying Russian crude oil at the cost of the world and President Donald Trump has tired of this game.
